Easy Come, Easy Go is Elvis' twenty-third soundtrack album, his 34th EP, and his 53rd audiophonic release (including LPs and singles). The recording sessions took place on September 28 to 30, 1966, at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California.
After the relative freedom of the Nashville sessions in May 1966, which yielded the album "How Great Thou Art" and other songs more to his taste, Elvis became publicly unhappy with the quality of the songs selected for the film, reportedly referring to the selections as "crap" during the sessions.
Seven songs were recorded for the film. "She's A Machine" was not used, but would be released on "Elvis Sings Flaming Star" in 1968. The remaining six appeared on the soundtrack EP, released on March 23, 1967, the day after the film. Various sources report that Elvis recorded a vocal version of "Leave My Woman Alone" for the film. This claim is a rumor, as only one instrumental backing track exists; Presley never recorded vocals for the song.
The album failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, and sold fewer than 30,000 copies in the United States. The British version of the album, however, topped the UK charts, despite featuring only four of the six tracks on the American edition ("The Love Machine" and "You Gotta Stop" were omitted).
Given that EPs were no longer a viable marketing medium and the album's poor performance, this was Elvis's last release in the format. On June 12 of that year, the soundtrack was released on LP, although only in Oceania.

With a modernized original cover and an attractive design, FTD tried to attract the public to a release that clearly didn't have much to show. Despite all the efforts, little material was made available and the record company limited itself to only including "She's a Machine" as part of the album. Among the extras, some previously unreleased takes stand out, such as the Master of "Leave My Woman Alone". At the end of the work, FTD provides a 12-page booklet with posters, album covers from around the world, various memorabilia, storyboards and behind-the-scenes photos.
The CD contains the following tracks:
