Any Way You Want Me was Elvis' sixth EP on RCA. It contained three tracks recorded in 1954 and 1955 at Sun Studio and the title track which was intended to promote the new recordings on RCA.

When Elvis signed to RCA Victor on November 20, 1955, he could barely imagine what the future of his career would look like.

On January 10 and 11, 1956, Elvis went to RCA Studio B in Nashville to record the first 5 tracks in his new home. His first single for the label, "Heartbreak Hotel / I Was the One", quickly reached 1 million copies sold while still on pre-order. It was an astounding result, given that RCA had never achieved such a feat with their other artists and that rock 'n' roll was still something new.

New sessions on January 30 and 31, 1956 captured another six tracks, which included "My Baby Left Me", which became the B-side to the "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You" single on May of that year, and "So Glad You're Mine", which would be out of the releases until the LP ELVIS on October 19, 1956.

At the end of January, RCA had 7 new tracks - not counting "So Glad You're Mine" - and five previously unreleased songs from the Sun Studio period, which were added to the previous ones to create the iconic ELVIS PRESLEY album, released on 23 March 1956.

After spending most of the year focused on promoting Elvis' first record on RCA, the label still had a few Masters that needed to be released but couldn't find a place on the EPs and singles that were being sold.

"Any Way You Want Me" was one such case. Recorded at the July 2, 1956 session, it had been waiting for an opportunity after the other two songs captured that day, "Hound Dog" and "Don't Be Cruel", had been released as sides A and B, respectively, of a single on July 13.

RCA then found in it the opportunity to release an EP where it would be the protagonist and the four tracks would be previously unreleased on an album. All three other tracks came from Sun Studio singles that had been re-released by RCA between December 1955 and January 1956, and had some success.

The EP enjoyed some notoriety, but was overshadowed by ELVIS PRESLEY's singles and the proximity of Love Me Tender's theatrical release. However, the title song was successful enough to appear as the B-side of the single "Love Me Tender" on September 28, 1956.

The work includes the following tracks:
